comeback

well, my wonderful Caps played last night. it was a nice comeback. sucked i couldn't go but i was feeling sick anyways and wouldn't have thoroughly enjoyed it. but it was a game. heres some pictures

and then theres my old love daniel briere. i was sad he left, but of course, i've totally gotten over it and if i hadn't, i wouldve really needed a reality check. hockey is great, but its not the most important thing ever. and sometimes im excited when he scores even though i shouldnt. i already have to be excited for the sabres and the caps and THEN briere. i shouldnt be wasting my excitement on my old buddy.

sounds beautiful. i can't wait for sunday because im actually going to that one. i have to go take a shower because we practiced out on a wet ass field and my legs are covered in shit. and my lip is slightly swollen because someone threw a ball at my face and my lip started bleeding. intense, eh? im really not canadian....

i just realized after re-reading yesterdays blog that i'm addressing you as if you are reading this. and no one will probably ever read this. so what am i doing? i have no idea. perhaps trying to let out my opinions and ideas and creativeness out on this blog. but as i said before, if you're reading this, then im extremely excited. maybe a little, actually.

we won our lacrosse game. we have a little help from some varsity players because tons of my team is missing for this field trip and we were short. i play defense and ended up being bored because the ball was kept on attack a good portion of the time. the score ended up being 14-6. we let in 3 fluke goals in almost a minute at the end and that totally sucked but we were plenty far up to succeed. but in lacrosse, its so easy to score tons of goals in a short period of time if you really put your heart into it. like i said, our opponents put one last push in the final minutes and got themselves 3 goals in 1 minute. once, at the beginning of a game, my team scored within 4 seconds. its pretty awesome.
oh and if you're reading this, i like putting pictures in my blog (pictures are always interesting) so they're might be a lot. im probably about to put one in. ha

that, of course, is guys lacrosse but i found the picture one time and liked it.

oh yeah, quarterfinals. um, you probably know all that happened. all i really saw was that the pens crushed the sens and i heard little sid got into a fight. thats enjoyable. too bad it missed it.

big wednesday

its big wednesday. not really. it is wednesday, and its semi-big. stanley cup quarter finals start today! no one of any consequence to me is playing but still, its here! actually, i said big wednesday because thats me and my friends 'thing' because there is a smoothie at robeks called 'the big wednesday' and it is quite delicious.

speaking of quarterfinals, my caps are playing on friday! i am so happy that they made it. i went to the last regular season game. it was quite exciting. the place was extremely red.

its quite amazing. haha. they were happy, we were happy

oh and just so you know, yes i live near d.c. so i am a Caps fan because i love hockey but the Sabres are my first team, meaning i'm firstly devoted to them. i'm not from there in any way but my dad went to high school there and his parents still live there and he got us kids into the Sabres. yea, they weren't so hot this season. i realize that. but its fine. i still got my caps in the playoffs and i get to go to the 2nd game on Sunday!

day 1

So this is my day one of the blog. I've started one of these blogs but I have no idea what happened to it. The memory seems to be hidden behind hockey stats and AP history. I guess I've decided to start one again because I've been reading this amazing one. It was like the perfect mix of humor and hockey: the 2 best things in the world. Almost (hey, I'm listening to The Almost right now).

For this first post, I'm not really going to say much else. I have no idea what I'm going to write about but if you read this, then wonderful! I actually have someone reading my wonderful work.

I'm probably going to watch the Hills tonight. What a great show, really.
