seriously, at the moment, i should be doing like a 10 page science report thats due tomorrow with bibliography and in depth knowledge of my experiment (which i totally faked) and i don't think that is going to happen. i cant even concentrate as madonna and justin timberlake (oh and timbaland?) are conversing in my ear and just everything going on in my life...i guess thats 20% off! yay. but at least i have time to (hopefully) see the pens beat the rangers!

this article is from quite a while ago. april 8th to be exact but...i dont think his beard (if thats what i should call it?) has grown much since it was written. and poor little MAF'

i guess i've accidentally taken to the flyers and penguins, hoping they'll go to the conference final. then either way that series goes, im left with someone i want to watch in the final. seriously, i dont want to watch the rangers and more so, the canadians (bleh). i don't even know anything about them or about the team or whatever but they just seem so boring....ughh. so i guess its 'lets go flyers!' and 'lets go pens' even though the pens are kinda dumb and im glad im not a true fan. i dont know why i dont hate the flyers...i should. they kicked my caps to the curb! oh well, that little elven is dragging me towards his team...

getting out those golf clubs!

wow its been such a long time since i've been on this. im thinking about just not using it anymore because i know no one is looking at it and its not like i really need to keep a diary type thing where i pretty much talk about hockey (because i know if anyone was reading this, they wouldnt want to know anything about my personal life unless it was interesting...lol)

ohhh i forgot to say a real long time ago that i was standing next to matt fehr on the metro last sunday, i believe. game 2 of the quarterfinals for the caps in d.c.
i guess they wanted him up here and he popped on the train. at first, i didnt recognize him but i was like woah, this really huge guy is wearing a suit and i peered at his face for some time, knew that i recognized him from somewhere but couldnt place it. and then his name just appeared: FEHR....14.
and then i looked at the 2 women and little child he was with. i guessed one of the women was his wife because the things she was talking about kinda with him. and then i recognized the other woman as Quintin Laing's wife. partly because the little child she had with her was wearing a mini laing jersey (which i thought was semi-unusual) and then, Quintin had a little stint on "caps crib" where he showed his temporary appartment. it was tiny and empty and he had, like, 2 outfits in his closet. hahaha.... but i remember from the video they showed his wife and child so yes! i remember things really well. it was kinda fun. a brush with fame. i later told one of my friends and he was quite dissapointed i didnt ask for a signature. but what an awkward place. plus, i could remember his first name and i thought that neither of us would have had something to sign with much less something for him to sign. my friend suggested that i should have had him sign my body....mmm. im not that into him that i would ask him to sign my forehead or arm or something on the metro. but he was reallllyyyyyy tall. and his wife was short. shorter than me. and im only like 5'4. and hes huge. haha. and her eyeshadow and his tie matched. it was quite cute.

onto last nights game?
i was extremely disappointed. you could see it coming in OT. caps had like 1 shot the whole time, the flyers had that powerplay, and we never really regained power after that. the goal was horrible. i could see it in the back of the net before lupul jumped up. my stomach sank and i was like like oh my god.....argggg. in the net...and it was such a shitting little sliding backhand...

i actually teared up. i was like i cant let myself cry. i didnt even cry for the sabres when they fucked up the conference final last year. maybe because i was watching it on t.v. and there wasnt quite the same emotion surrounding it. i guess all the winning they did in the regular season filled up my meter and this year i just didnt get enough. the caps tried so hard. they were soooo close. maybe thats why i teared up. at least the tears didnt roll down my cheek...
the refs sucked. people were throwing shit on the ice before the game was even over. they called such horrible calls. they often do that but it seemed like such a huge majority of them were against the caps and it sucked so bad.

all i can do it hope and pray that next season will be better in so many ways. i dont even know what to do with myself anymore. there is really no team i want to watch anymoreand i dont want to stop watching! i guess all i have to do now is my AP homework. maybe ill actually start doing it. and maybe ill start doing my algebra because theres no hockey left for me. maybe every once in a while ill check up on some of the teams, whats going on. really, just the flyers and penguins. just because briere is my old love and the pens are somewhat interesting. it wouldve been so great if the caps couldve played the pens. ah man. didnt that thought in the back of their minds keep the caps going in those rough minutes of OT? it shouldve. maybe they were thinking about unpacking their clubs, imagining themselves on the beautiful green grass...
i bet gary bettman was kinda praying for that. as people were saying, it wouldve been great for hockey. Ov vs. Crosby....

swept like a mofo

i believe this boy and his chin are about to sweep the ottawa senators. what an unbelievable year they've had from going way ahead in the conference winning something like 17 out of their first 18 games. or maybe it was 16 out of 17 or 15 out of 16. something like that. but going from that to losing in the first round. being SWEPT in the first round and getting shut out in the first game. what a horrible, horrible way to go. and everyone thought that they were going the distance, and believe me, i thought the same too until they started sucking like crazy and possibly couldve been knocked out of the playoffs after last years wonderful season and this season's wonderful start. oh well, sad things happen.

oh yes, its final as i just saw on nhl.com. that boy above and his chin scoring the last goal (probably an empty netter)

im afraid this is going to happen to my caps. of course, they've already won a game so they can't be swept but last night's game was horrible. 3rd period, i thought i was going to die. it was so frustrating. and their situation was so great, if they got knocked out now, it'd be soo horrendous. the "cinderella story" team having a great comeback game 1 and then sucking ass the rest of the series and dissapointing all their wonderful fans. hopefully they can pull off a win tomorrow night or they're doomed!

the only good thing about yesterdays game was that they didnt get shut out and my old love danny B had a nice game. arggggggggg
